North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service will give away limited quantities of FREE Ginseng Seeds and Books: "Growing and Marketing Ginseng, Goldenseal & Other Woodland Medicinals" by Persons and Davis.

Funding for this event provided by an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant from the USDA Forest Service’s Southern Research Station as part of the Western North Carolina Forest Products Cooperative Marketing Project. Working in cooperation with the Smoky Mountain Native Plants Association,  the NC Forest Service, Land of Sky Regional Council, NC State University, and the Southern Forests Network.
