Last March we held the wildly successful NC-VA Hops Conference in Winston-Salem, NC. If you want to view the videos from that conference, just go to: NC-VA Hops Conference Videos. We promised to do it again, So this year we are holding the:
South Atlantic Hops Conference in Richmond, VA on March 4-5
The conference will kick off with hop yard and brewery tours on Friday. Saturday will be a full day conference with concurrent sessions on all aspects of growing and selling hops. There will be a trade show and lunch will be served. We have worked hard to make this a very reasonably priced conference. Matter of fact, if you register this month, you can attend both days for just $80.12! We have a great line-up of speakers including Ann George, Executive Director of US Hop Growers Association, James Altwies of Gorst Valley Hops, Dan Gridley of Farm Boy Hops, Ken Hurley of Virginia Tech, and Lina Quesada-Ocampo of NC State University. There will be panel discussions, too, with brewers and a talk on how to build a small hop yard. It will be a great opportunity to network with growers at all stages of production. So check out the detailed information on our Eventbrite page: South Atlantic Hops Conference, and register today!
